Step 4 - Meet your care team

During your initial visit, you will meet with your medical oncologist and other members of your care team. Based on your individual needs, this visit typically involves:

• A comprehensive evaluation of your medical history and any prior diagnostics
• Diagnostic testing (if needed)
• Consultations with specialists
• A presentation of your recommended, personalized treatment plan

Your care team is built according to your health needs and preferences. City of Hope experts work together to formulate a plan to fight your cancer while also helping you maintain the best possible quality of life through your cancer treatment.
