Through survivorship support services, you and your loved ones have access to a team to help you identify and manage potential short-term, long-term and late effects of your specific treatment.
We are available to you during, in-between and after treatment, providing emotional and physical education and support.
Another resource, created by our patients 30 years ago, is the Cancer Fighters® program. Cancer Fighters are patients, caregivers and those on a cancer journey who have volunteered their time to offer support to fellow patients during their journey.
If you are considering treatment at City of Hope and wish to talk with a patient, our Oncology Information Specialists will connect you with a current patient, caregiver or cancer survivor who has gone through treatment so you can hear his or her experience firsthand. And, if you become a patient at our hospital, the Cancer Fighters community will continue to support, empower and inform you throughout your cancer care.
